The Box Office phone line is staffed between 10am - 6pm every Tuesday and two hours before every live event. At all other times please leave a message.
The Bridge is open for Platform events, performances, workshops, classes and hires:

Please note there is another venue in Glasgow called Platform, located on Argyle Street in the city centre. This is completely separate from us and we are located in the east end of the city, in Easterhouse.

Venue Description: Platform is the arts centre located at the heart of The Bridge located in Easterhouse, offering a year round programme of performance, music, visual arts and participation.
Accessibility: There is step free access to every level of the building. The Box Office can be found at The Bridge reception desk which is of medium height and has a lower level section for wheelchair users. There are induction loops in some parts of the building. Motorised scooters are welcome.
Accessible Performances: Where and when possible we look to programme accessible events, as our programme changes regularly please contact the venue for the latest information on our accessible events.
Toilets: We have five accessible toilets all of which are wide enough for wheelchair users, have step free access and easy turn locks. Toliets on the ground floor are gender neutral.
Assistance Dog Facilities: Guide dogs are welcome. Water bowls for Assistance Dogs are available upon request. There is a large green area around 100m from the venue between Wardie Road and Aberdalgie Road suitable for exercising dogs off lead.
Platform staff are welcoming and happy to help with any questions or requests you may have - please get in touch in advance of your visit.
How to find us by train:
Travelling from Glasgow, Queen Street Station, take the east bound lower level trains. The stop for The Bridge is Easterhouse Train Station and both the Airdrie & Edinburgh bound trains stop at Easterhouse.
From Edinburgh Waverley take the Helensburgh Central train. The walk from the train station is approximately 15 mins.

How to find us by bus:
Stagecoach X19 is the fastest way from Glasgow city centre (outside Queen Street Station) to Platform - the bus stops near the Platform building (outside the main car park) on Westerhouse Road - just after The Lochs Shopping Centre and the McDonalds.

First Buses operate the 38/A/B/C/E which stop at The Glasgow Fort which is around a 15/20 minute walk to Platform. They also operate number 60/60A/41 which come to Easterhouse.
Number 43 goes from Parkhead through to Easterhouse and stops at the Lochs Shopping Centre
Number 46 goes from Castlemilk through the east end to Easterhouse, stopping at The Lochs Shopping Centre

McGills operate a local bus service from Baillieston, Gartcosh etc - this is usually one bus an hour

How to find us by car:
From the East or West please take J10 of the M8, turn left at the traffic lights and continue straight along Westerhouse Road. After passing McDonalds on your right hand side you will see a wind turbine. Please turn right at the wind turbine into the Bridge car park - car parking is free. The entrance to the Bridge is on the right beside Glasgow Kelvin College.
