We caught up with Lewis Hetherington, our 'resident' Christmas show playwright who has written a cracker of a show this year
This February mid term school break we are inviting children and their families along for some food offers, free board games & colouring in activities and socialising in the Platform Cafe bar! Drop in - no need to book.
Our usual Children's Holiday Food Programme, supported by Glasgow City Council, isn't running during this February break, but will be back for the Easter holidays. In its place, on Mon 13, Tues 14 & Wed 15 February, we are hoping families will join us in the Platform Cafe Bar.
We'll have hot filled breakfast rolls for £1 each, served until 12pm. Kids meals are £1.20 and will include a juice box and fruit - and adults can get any lunch option on offer with a tea or coffee included for £2.50.
Free activities will include colouring sheets and pens to get creative with, as well as choice of board games to play. There's also free Wi-Fi, the space is fully accessible and it's a great place to just relax and spend some time with your family.
The library is also open each day with a brilliant range of books and resources - as well as a cosy children's area with seating.
Menus will change and vary each day but to get some more information on the Platform Cafe Bar visit here. The Cafe Bar is open between 9am - 3pm Monday to Saturday.
