Over 40 woolly 'breasts' knitted to help student midwives learn to teach breastfeeding.
We are delighted to welcome 22 HND Musical Theatre students from Glasgow Kelvin College as the ensemble cast for our 2024 Christmas show Rumpelstiltskin. Supporting a lead cast of Michael Guest (Rumpelstiltskin), Scarlett Mack (Bunnyflops) and Adam Buksh (Duncan McWoof & others), Rumpelstiltskin will have a 34 show run, running from Tue 3 – Tue 24 December 2024.
The students, who are currently in their second year of the HND Musical Theatre at the adjoining Easterhouse campus, will be performing as an ensemble of the ‘Northern Lights’. They are: Kieran Williamson, Nathaniel Glass, Ryan Josey, Kyle McKeown, Jay Forsyth, Taylor Mcinnes, Ve McColl, Aimee Morgan, Ava Malarky, Kate Claremont, Karys France, Beth Calderwood, Mara Pralea, Kyra Crawford, Jodi Namyslak, Gemma Gillie, Penny MacNamara, Emma Young, Vannesa Tsybulska, Beau Cupples, Sinead Ritchie and Amy McDonald.
Rehearsals are well underway and student Karys France said: “I'm really excited to be in the show, looking forward to the challenge and bringing some extra Christmas spirit to the community”. Penny McNamara: “I'm looking forward to working with the professional cast who are in the show - it's a great opportunity opportunity'.
