Music Classes: Guitar Lessons

Tuesdays → 5.45pm - 8pm
5yrs+ & adults

Interested in learning to play the guitar or need some help getting to the next stage? Our music lessons are led by professional musicians and aimed at adults and children from age 5yrs and up. Open to beginners / all levels of experience. We have guitars available for use during classes - please enquire when booking/getting in touch.

Please be aware that places are limited and priority access will be given to those living in our Local Links area within the North East of Glasgow. Visit our Local Links page to see full list of eligible postcodes.

Please note you must pre book your space before joining/attending - do not attend until you have booking confirmation. 

Please do not travel to Platform if you feel unwell or have any of the symptoms associated with Covid-19. 

You are welcome to continue mask wearing in indoor public spaces in line with government and public health advice, though this is no longer a legal requirement. 

Hand washing facilities and sanitiser will be easily accessible before, during and after the workshop.

These classes are offered on a Pay-What-You-Like basis, where you decide what to pay. You can pay online or at the class itself in cash or by card. Click the ‘book tickets’ link for more information and/or to pay.

Holly, who took part in guitar lessons, said: “Before lockdown I attended a few lessons in person and I was lucky enough to get my own guitar for Christmas. I can play a few chords and have been doing some single string tunes. I’ve been listening to different types of music and for the parts with guitar”.
