Produced Moon is looking for 10 young people in Easterhouse aged 14 - 25 to co-create a new immersive audio experience for The Bridge - a haunting and interactive ghost story. The work will premiere at Platform on Saturday 9 November 2024 as part of a mini festival which also includes performance That Feeling When presented by Lyra Young Company, directed by Natalia Barua with Caitlin Mulgrew and Jo Timmins Lyra Young Company.
Together the group will make AN EASTERHOUSE AUDIO HAUNT - where audiences will be guided by their instincts and equipped with an audio guide, in order to uncover hidden clues and solve intricate puzzles. Every creak, every ghostly cry, and every fleeting shadow pulling them deeper into the mystery!
If you are interested in storytelling, performance making, game design or feel excited by art making then get in touch with Margot via Whatsapp / text / call 07458105318 or email producer@platform-online.co.uk.The project is free to take part in and there is budget to make it as accessible as possible for young artists who wish to get involved - this can cover things like childcare costs, taxis, a translator etc. Get in touch with Margot to discuss how we can help you get involved.
Activity will take place over weekly evening sessions, one creation week and then a premiere day all at Platform. Beginning Monday 9 September and culminating in the premiere at Platform on Saturday 9 November - see left hand column for dates and times.
