Guitar Music Space for ages 8-16yrs | 5pm-6:30pm
Discover, play and create music together. Guitar Music Space is an artist-led group where young people can learn new instruments, develop musical skills and explore making music as part of an ensemble. Supported by professional musicians and assistants, sessions are open to all abilities (regardless of experience!) and will focus on skills development, collaboration, and the joy of playing music together.
Guitar Music Space for age 16yrs+ | 7pm-8:30pm
Guitar Music Space is a welcoming, artist-led music group for anyone aged 16+ who wants to develop their musical skills, learn new instruments and make music with others. Led by professional musicians, sessions support creativity, collaboration and confidence-building through ensemble playing, experimentation and shared music making. No previous experience is required.
The aim is to provide a friendly and supportive space for collaboration and musical experimentation - with (optional) performance and recording opportunities on offer at the end of the block.

BOOKING DETAILS | PAY-WHAT-YOU-LIKE | WAITING LIST
These classes are offered on a Pay-What-You-Like basis, where you decide what to pay. As a guide, we recommend a payment of £5 per class. Activities are booked as a full block and a taster session may be available (dependent on availability) if you wish to try a class first - to enquire about a taster session please email tickets@platform-online.co.uk
Pay online or at the class itself in cash (we have a donations box to drop payment into) or by card - you can either pay for the full block up front or pay each week. Please note you must pre book your space before attending - please do not attend until you have booking confirmation.
If all sessions are booked please email tickets@platform-online.co.uk with a note of your name, telephone number and preferred date and we will add you to the waiting list. We will contact you if a space becomes available.
Holly, who takes part in guitar lessons, said: “I was lucky enough to get my own guitar for Christmas. I can play a few chords and have been doing some single string tunes. I’ve been listening to different types of music and for the parts with guitar”.
