On Friday 13 and Friday 20 June, we hosted two Open House events at Platform, as part of the Refugee Festival Scotland.
These events were designed to welcome newcomers to Platform, and give them the opportunity to learn more about what we offer, have a look around the venue, and take part in some activities. Platform's Full House Bingo group also joined in on the fun as part of their weekly bingo, lunch and entertainment meet up.
Both days were a great success, with wonderful performances from members of Platform taking part music classes - led by tutor Celine - and hands on activities run by Angela from the Royal Horticultural Society and Print Clan. One of the newcomers who came along said 'It's a good chance to try something new and have a look round'.
