We are delighted to announce our new season creative programme for January through to mid April. On sale and ready to book!

This runs alongside our Taking Part programme which is packed with lots of classes and workshops for all ages, and offered on a Pay-What-You-Like basis.

FULL HOUSE FRIDAY BINGO runs every Friday afternoon from 12noon - 2pm with a few rounds of bingo, soup and cuppa and weekly entertainment.  For 18yrs+, tickets £5.

And we are pleased to welcome back a series of MAKE DO events - running Sat 24 Jan, Sat 28 Feb and Sat 28 March from 12noon - 2pm. Curated by artist Rebecca Fraser, it's free and drop in and suitable for all ages - come along and take part in free activities, shop at stalls and enjoy free refreshments including free drinks and hot rolls served throughout. Part of the Creative Climates Futures Easterhouse Project 

The DAYTRIPPING exhibition by Alan Dimmick runs until Saturday 24 January - enjoy a collection of evocative photographs documenting the joy of day trips, celebrating people and place.

In February we welcome Frozen Light with ANCIENT OAK OF BALDOR. A multi-sensory experience for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities and their companions, offering the chance to gather and experience the collective power of shared stories. Thu 26 & Fri 27 Feb  at 11am & 1.30pm. Recommended age 13yrs+.

ONE OF TWO by Jack Hunter comes to Platform on Tue 17 March at 7pm. Aimed at age 12yrs+. Presented by Independent Arts Projects, ONE OF TWO is a ‘remarkably ordinary’, heartfelt, hilarious solo show about twins with cerebral palsy navigating childhood, celebrating disability, difference, and resilience.

Platform & Jon Ritchie and That Swing Sensation present two spring time BIG BAND AFTERNOON TEA DANCES on Wed 1 & Thu 2 April at 1pm. A tea dance extravaganza indeed -  enjoy live music, tea, sandwiches, cakes, vocalists and dancers! Suitable for all ages. 

April 10th at 2pm sees the arrival of A HOME FOR HAMISH presented by Just Us - a colourful, immersive show blending dance, storytelling and British Sign Language. Climb mountains, dance with jellyfish and escape dragons - all in one magical adventure! Recommended age 4-7yrs.
