This Summer, we had the pleasure of hosting our Summer Food and Activities Programme, with support from Glasgow City Council.
Platform Café Bar Manager Mary and her team did a brilliant job serving fresh, delicious food and welcoming children and families all Summer long. We got some great feedback from attendees:
‘It brought us together as a family at no cost. The food was ideal with a good variety for families. Our children were very happy - with full tummies!'
‘Very good for the kids to be out and around other kids doing activities and enjoying themselves’.
‘The staff are wonderful and the variety of food is amazing’.
‘My grandson made friends and so did I!’.
The Summer was jam-packed with lots of free, fun events. Attendees were particularly taken with Maria Gondek's fountain-sculpture ‘The Brolly’ which was free to view all through July. Other activities included film screenings, nature walks, lots of great art workshops, and even a visit to the Gallery of Modern Art to see Banksy's Cut & Run exhibition!
With thanks to Glasgow City Council's Children's Holiday Food and Activities Programme.
