Presented by FUSE and Platform, join us later this month for all things film and comics!
Explore costumes and props, browse stalls offering comics, graphic novels, collectables and merchandise and take a walk down 'Artists Alley' which will showcase the work of national comic creators/illustrators.
There will also be talks and creative sessions for all ages and a chance for fans to show off their incredible costumes and celebrate their favourite characters - dress up and be in with a chance of winning a prize! Scottish Cartoon Studio will be providing a caricaturist - ideal for a take home memento!
Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi has donated a signed script as a raffle prize and author Chris McQueer joins us for a talk about his work. Etienne Kubwabo, a filmmaker and DJ based in Glasgow and creator of Beats of War will be part of the event alongside the fantastic Easterhouse based band Toothless Aggression who will be showcasing live music. Ghostbusters, Batman and Iron Man will be making an appearance along with various other cosplayers from the comic universe!
Enjoy a film screening of the Fantastic Four to round the event off - screening starts around 4pm.
