Rebuilding the Community Brick by Brick: The Ruchazie - Hogganfield Gateway Commission begins
A great turnout in the sunshine and showers at this year’s Alexandra Park Festival Day at the weekend, the first of our two festivals this summer!
Well over three thousand festival goers came along in droves to enjoy everything from stalls and free sports activities, free face painting, free balloon modelling, live music and free art workshops, to rides, inflatables and live wrestling from Iron Girders Gym.
Thanks to all our supporters and funders, including our partners in running the event, Community Events Scotland.
We are back on Saturday 26 July, 12noon - 4pm, to do it all over again with The Bridge Family Festival, The Bridge, Easterhouse – where there will also be a free roller disco as well as the usual line-up of family friendly activities! Visit here for more details.
