Saturday Art Club At Home | Week 3 | Make a Mini Theatre

25 Apr 2020 → 30 Jun 2020
All ages

This week’s Saturday Art Club at Home activity by Alice Dansey-Wright is how to make a ‘Mini Theatre’! Click on the activity sheets to the left of this page.

We know that not everyone has a printer (you can carefully trace shapes from the screen onto a piece of paper instead) or may have a limited supply of art materials so it’s all about getting creative with what you have in the house. It’s amazing what you can find if you look hard enough!

We would love to see your creations and ask that if sharing online, you tag us at @platformglasgow

Or if you’d like, you can email photos to info@platform-online.co.uk with a wee note of what you have made, your name and age and if you are happy for us to share online.

Please feel free to share these activities with your friends and help us spread the word.

Follow our Latest section the website to see what else we have been up to with some of our other Taking Part groups.

WEEK 3 of Saturday Art Club at Home is a step-by-step guide to making your own “Mini Theatre’’! You can access this week’s activity sheets below:

Or access a PDF booklet of all 3 activity sheets.

Since we can’t hold our Saturday Art Club as we normally do, we have invited artist Alice Dansey-Wright to share with us a weekly creative activity that can be accessed online - Saturday Art Club at Home.

These weekly activities have been made with our Saturday Art clubbers in mind, who are aged from 4 – 11 years old. However they are available for everyone to access and for all ages to get involved. It’s definitely more fun that way!

As well as sharing on our website, we will email out a new activity created by Alice every Saturday morning. If you would like to receive the activity email from us please email info@platform-online.co.uk with your name, email address and a note to ask us to add you to the Taking Part mailing list.
