Holding It Together is both a performance and a conversation. We watch and we share in an intimate space carefully designed to support audience members as they reflect upon the feeling and evolving experience of grief. Using movement, text and lots of bubble wrap Jassy Earl and Chloë Smith explore their independent but shared experiences of grief and the friendship connecting them.
Featuring sound design from Kim Moore, movement direction from Laura Bradshaw (Scrimshaw Projects) and dramaturgy support from Luke Pell, the work has been produced by The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival following a performance at their scratch event 5 Ways To Begin… in May 2018. Holding It Together has been supported by Imaginate, Platform and Creative Scotland’s Open Project Fund.
