Dreamt as a living poem, it is a wander along the water,

a seat beside someone on a bench, a conversation,

a landscape of words written with bodies,

a space for you to reflect, remember, imagine,

in honour of things loved and lost

In the Ink Dark is a project in four parts from Luke Pell and collaborators.

Throughout May and June 2017 a series of conversations and encounters with different people in Leith and Edinburgh led to a week of live dance performances in unique spaces across the city, opening as part of LeithLate17 in the Leith Theatre, accompanied by a series of specially commissioned podcasts and traced in print with a limited run publication, now also available online: https://www.intheinkdark.com

Throughout April and May a series of conversations and encounters with different people in Glasgow and Dundee will lead to two weeks of live dance performances in unique spaces in each city including here at Platform in public spaces across the building.

These performances also form part of the Take Me Somewhere, Luminate and Scottish Mental Health Arts Festivals 2019.

Why not join us for both In the Ink Dark and Listening Party here at Platform on either Friday 24th or Sunday 26th May and make a night of contemporary performance here in Easterhouse…
