Super Saturdays at Platform!

We like to think of Saturdays at Platform as super Saturdays as we have Play Cafe and Saturday Art Club for babies, toddlers and primary age school children taking place!

Play Cafe is for age 0-5yrs (11.15am - 12.15pm) and Saturday Art Club is for age 5-11yrs  (11am - 12noon + 1pm - 2pm classes) and all classes are offered on a Pay-What-You-Like basis where you decide what to pay (recommended donation is £5 per class).

Play Cafe - bring your wee ones along and enjoy some creative activities. Each week is different - join us for theatre, dance, music and art and craft activities for babies and toddlers, all led by Platform’s associate artists. It doesn’t matter if you are a parent, grandparent, carer, auntie or uncle - everyone is welcome. Free healthy drinks and snacks provided.

Saturday Art Club - an informal art class aimed at primary school age children, offering a chance to be playful with materials and create artworks to take home. Artist led and a fun way to spend a Saturday! There are two sessions running due to demand for spaces.

The Platform Cafe Bar is open until 3pm and offers a well priced menu of breakfast, lunch and snacks - and with The Bridge Library open until 5pm, you can hang out in the cosy children's section which with couches and carpets, is the ideal space to hang out. 

Our building is fully accessible, we have a large car park with free parking.
