Platform is delighted to be working with artists Ruby Pester and Owen Clarke to develop an exciting new programme of events and workshops exploring the natural and urban environment we inhabit.

The artists will be collecting and sharing ideas on current environmental issues as well as hopes, dreams and fantasies for a planet of the future. Working with the local community, they will construct a geodome which will become an active and imaginative space. The project will focus on DIY activities and creative processes to ponder, experiment, play, gather, and share local knowledge. One of the projects aims will be to find ways to reconnect with nature and re-activate derelict common land. The geodome will be located on Lochend Road in Easterhouse.

If you would like to find out more and are interested in taking part, please contact thefreedomeland@gmail.com or telephone Anna at Platform on 0141 276 9681.
