Following their successful live performance, the group have a new project
Congratulations to everyone from Creation Station and Lab Station last night for a very enjoyable and successful end of term sharing. It was great to see what both groups have been working on and everyone at Platform looks forward to seeing what you get up to in 2019!
Lab Station presented a short excerpt of some new material they plan to turn into a full production called Old Shows by Young People - it was really fun and we look forward to seeing more of this next year!
From Creation Station Lead Artist Geraldine Heaney: “It has, as always, been so much fun working with Creation Station this term. We spent autumn making a music video for a song by a band called ‘Sprog Rock’ who do gigs for kids. There was drawing, dancing, musical instruments and some stop motion animation.
Then as winter arrived we created our very own Christmas Single. We watched other Christmas music videos, and Creation Station decided it would be funny to make a Sad, Slow, Christmas Song. Creation Station wrote the song and the lyrics and our friend Greg Sinclair helped us with music for it while we finished of the video.
Thanks for another great year! See you in 2019!”
