Our annual celebration of art that blurs the boundaries was a sold out success!
On Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th February, the Platform team will be providing free meal bags to local children and their families to take away and eat at home. This is a drop in service and no referral or sign up is required - just turn up on the day.
Meals can be collected between 11.30am and 1pm (or until bags are all given out) from The Bridge Car Park. There will be a mix of cereal, snacks, treats and fruit, as well as some yummy dishes freshly prepared from our neighbouring cafe Wee Bettys. Dishes will include Mac & Cheese, Chicken or Veggie Curry and Spaghetti Bolognese or Veggie Pasta!
Social distancing measures will be in place and 1 person (adult) per family to collect where possible. We please ask you to wear a mask when queuing/collecting.
Please note The Bridge Car Park is currently being used as a drive through Covid testing centre - members of the public attending for a test are not permitted to leave their car or park in the car park.
If coming to collect a food bag(s) please come on foot where possible and if entering the car park via Westerhouse Road, use the pathway closest to the entrance of Police Scotland. This path will take you directly to the entrance to The Bridge, where the bags will be given out by our team.
If driving, please KEEP TO THE LEFT SIDE of the car park when you enter and once parked, follow the footpaths towards the ramp side of the entrance to The Bridge.
A number of testing centre staff will be on site to provide direction if required.
Thank you to the Glasgow City Council’s Children’s Holiday Food Programme for funding this project.
