Travelling Gallery | Eat Sleep Work Repeat

30 Mar 2017
All ages
Free

The Travelling Gallery’s Spring 2017 exhibition explores the various verbal and non-verbal ways we translate and understand our day to day feelings within a capitalist society with the question: How do we communicate our emotions within our work place?

The exhibition departs from work by German artist KP Brehmer ‘Soul and Feelings of a worker’ (1978 – 1980) who uses collected data, graphs and charts to map the daily emotions of workers from very happy to uneasy. The exhibition also includes contemporary artists who look at the industrialised and repetitive effects of our commute, lunch time, leisure, labour and health. All exploring similar frustrations in the present time of zero hour contracts, austerity, strikes and ‘red tape’.

The Travelling Gallery will be parked in The Bridge car park from 1pm - 7pm.
